HOW CAN I START WORKING WITH YOU? WHAT INSURANCE IS AVAILABLE?

To schedule a lactation home visit or consult, send an email or complete the contact forms on our website. Our team will contact you soon to arrange an appointment. We accept most insurance providers through,The Lactation Network (TLN) for billing, however do not accept insurance directly. Please use the provided link with Peachtree Lactation already listed as the provider. The Lactation Network guarantees every mother three 90 minute lactation consultations with a registered IBCLC, like me, at no out of pocket cost. They handle the paperwork and bill your insurance directly. To learn more and schedule a consultation.

If you do not have an insurance provider through TLN and prefer self-pay, we can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Once you get in touch, Goldie's Team can provide self-pay consult rates for our packages.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY LACTATION CONSULTATION?

To prepare for your lactation consultant consult, there are a few things you can do:

  1. Complete intake forms and review Peachtree Lactation payment and consent for care forms.

  2. Write down any questions or concerns you have regarding breastfeeding, latch, milk supply, pumping, or any other related topics.

  3. Keep a log of your baby's feeding habits, including the number of feedings per day, duration of each feeding, and any challenges you've encountered.

  4. Gather any breastfeeding equipment you are currently using, such as breast pumps, nipple shields, or nursing pillows, to discuss their effectiveness or troubleshoot any issues.

  5. Take note of any medications or supplements you are currently taking, as well as any medical conditions or recent changes in your health that may impact breastfeeding.

  6. Consider wearing comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your breasts for breastfeeding demonstrations or assessments.

By taking these steps, you will be well-prepared for your lactation consultant consult, ensuring that you can address your concerns and make the most of your session.

DO YOU OFFER REMOTE CONSULTATIONS?

During the remote lactation consultant session, we will strive to address your concerns and provide guidance based on the information you provide. If the lactation consultant determines that a home visit would be beneficial for further assessment or support, they will discuss this with you and guide you on the next steps accordingly. Our priority is to ensure you receive the most appropriate care and assistance throughout your breastfeeding journey.
